Antigone
Well, I know this is very late, and I'm sure most of you have already seen pictures of the latest college play, but here we go anyway!
The College Drama Club put on an awesome rendition of an ancient Greek tragedy written by good old Sophocles himself. This was the story of Antigone, who fought to keep the unwritten laws of the gods rather than the laws of man, no matter what the cost.
Although it was a tragedy and not as light or funny as last year's play, Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, it was nevertheless very well done; the excellent acting skills helped the audience to more fully realize how serious and true, especially in our own day and age, are the main ideas of the play.
