Rehearsal for Antigone
The College Drama Club is working on the Greek tragedy "Antigone" this fall to be performed the weekend before Thanksgiving. Here are some pictures from the practice yesterday. As you can see, we haven't gotten off the scripts ...yet... :)

A dead Haemon (played by Dave) is mourned too late by his father Creon (Ben Moats).
Dead.
Creon weeps over Haemon.
Receiving the messenger's news about Eurydice's death.
Creon, ready to take his own life.
The king desperately implores that his misery and guilt be relieved.

I forgot to say - though I DID intend to! :) - that the first couple pictures were taken by yours truly, but the rest were taken by Marianne Movius and Sarah Brown. (Thank you, both!!! :D)

Hey, Monnie! You're doing a great job! Boy, I wish we would have had something like this last year...not the play because Twelfth Night was fun, but a blog. I really enjoy seeing what you SMC students are really doing. Going by what we get out of Sarah, all you do is study and take tests there!
